  We didn't have a reservation so had a 20 minute wait. I understand how busy Saturday nights are so we had a drink at the bar. The hostess stuck us at a corner table, where we were on the "pay no mind list." Though the waitress was nice, we were never checked on after our orders came. Here's the rundown on food: the apps and sides were great - wedge salad, French onion soup, Creamed spinach and truffle fries were all tasty. The problem I had was with my prime rib. For what is supposed to be a very good piece of meat, you could tell it was cooked twice. The meat was tough, chewy and extremely salty. For these prices, go to a real steakhouse, not this country kitchen.

  Excellent service and attentiveness from the moment you walk in. Saturday night they were packed but you never felt umcomfortable, rushed or neglected. Food was top end. Great Oysters, baked clams, sword fish entree and of course fabulous steaks. New mangimg partner, Chris has really turned this,place around. Friends came from Staten Island and said it was well worth the trip. No need to travel to NYC or North Shore when you have Franks right in town.

  Don't be fooled by the "Petite Skirt Steak" by no means small.

  For what they charge, I expected better. Food was okay, but had to send steak back twice before they got it right. Generally the place looks worn and out of date.
